2. What ReachSmart does

5. Google user data and Gmail API

If you connect a Google account, ReachSmart accesses Google user data only within the permissions you explicitly grant. ReachSmart uses the Gmail API to create, prepare, or send application emails through your connected account on your behalf and in accordance with your instructions.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, share it with third parties for advertising purposes, or transfer it to data brokers. We disclose Google user data only when necessary to provide or secure the features you request, when required by law, or with your explicit consent. Human access to Google user data is limited to cases where it is necessary for security, support, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or where you have given explicit permission. ReachSmart's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke ReachSmart's access at any time through your Google Account settings. Revocation prevents future access but does not affect processing that was lawful before access was revoked.

6. AI features and service providers

ReachSmart may use AI-powered tools to help generate or personalize resumes, cover letters, emails, and other application content. Information needed for a requested feature may be sent to carefully selected technical service providers. We limit this processing to information reasonably necessary to provide the feature. Users are responsible for reviewing and approving generated content before using or sending it.

7. Sharing of information

We may share information with hosting, cloud, email, payment, support, analytics, security, and AI service providers to the extent necessary for them to perform services for ReachSmart. These providers are required to handle information under appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business reorganization, or when you direct or consent to the disclosure. International transfers are made only where appropriate legal safeguards are in place.

8. Data retention
